Add a music24 widget to your Android phone
Put your streams, your next release and your posts on the Home screen, and open New post or Studio from a shortcut, a tile or your voice.
music24 widgets show your numbers on the Home screen: your streams, the days to your next release, the posts that need you and your fans. A tap on a widget opens the right screen of the app. Widgets are on every plan, Free included.
Add a widget
- Touch and hold an empty spot on the Home screen, then tap Widgets.
- Find music24 and open it.
- Touch and hold a widget and drag it to a free spot.
- Pick the artist of the widget, then tap Add widget.
Add a widget from the app
- In music24, open Settings → Widgets and shortcuts.
- Tap Add next to the widget you want.
- Your phone asks to add it to the Home screen. Confirm.
Some launchers cannot add a widget for an app. Then music24 tells you to touch and hold the Home screen and tap Widgets.
Pick or change the artist
- Active artist is the first choice. It follows the artist you pick in the app, so the widget changes when you switch artists.
- Pick a named artist to keep the widget on that artist, for example one Streams widget for each artist you manage.
- To change the artist later, touch and hold the widget and tap the edit button of your launcher. Quick actions has no artist.
The widgets and their sizes
Touch and hold a widget and drag its edges to resize it. The widget picks the layout that fits: small (2 × 2), wide (4 × 2) or large (4 × 4).
- Streams: your streams, the change and a small chart. Wider and larger widgets add listeners, followers and your top 3 songs.
- Next release: a countdown to your next release day and your pre-save fans. After the release day, your SmartLink clicks.
- Up next: your next scheduled posts and the posts that need you. The large widget scrolls through the next 7 days.
- Social: your followers on every channel, the change and your best post.
- SmartLinks and fans: your SmartLink clicks, your top link and your fans.
- Top countries: the 3 countries where your fans stream most. Countries are on the paid plans.
- Quick actions: New post, Studio, Add a song and Calendar, one tap each.
- Pitch: the curator replies that need you and today’s pitches.
The numbers follow your plan, the same as in the app. The widgets show the workspace that is open in the app.
App shortcuts
- Touch and hold the music24 icon. You see New post, Studio, Calendar, Add a song and the last 3 songs you opened.
- Drag a shortcut to the Home screen to keep it there.

The New post tile in Quick Settings
- Swipe down twice from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings.

- Tap the tile to open a new post in music24.
