Set up Music24 in your first week

The setup wizard links your music or starts a watchlist and turns on your email alerts. The Finish setting up list on Home shows what is left.

The first time you sign in, Set up Music24 opens. It has three steps and takes a few minutes. Finish it, or select Skip setup to go straight to the app. The wizard shows once per person and does not open again, so the rest of this article also tells you where each setting lives.

What brings you to Music24? Pick I'm an artist, Manager or label or Curator or investor. Your choice decides what we suggest and how your alerts start.
Where can we find your music? (artists) Paste your public artist page under Your profiles and select Link. We read every release on it and keep reading new ones. If you have no artist page yet, choose to search for your music instead.
Add the first thing you want watched (managers, labels, curators) Search for artists, tracks and playlists and add at least one.
Where should the signal land? Choose Email me when something moves with an Alert threshold of 10, 20 or 40% a day, and Email me a digest, Daily or Weekly. Both start on. Select Finish setup.

Nothing is public until you publish it. You can change your alerts and digest at any time in Settings → Notifications.

The Finish setting up list

After the wizard, Home shows Finish setting up with four tasks. Each task ticks itself when the app sees it done. Continue opens the first open task.

Catalogue discovered (artists) or Watchlist started (everyone else): a profile is linked, or you follow at least one artist or track.
Email alerts armed: mover alerts are on in Settings → Notifications.
Connect Spotify for Artists: your Spotify for Artists account is connected, so Insights shows your real numbers.
Publish your first smartlink: one SmartLink or pre-save page is published.

Select Dismiss to hide the list from Home. The same tasks stay in Settings → Setup. Dismiss is saved in this browser only.

If you joined a team

A person who joins from an invite starts with a welcome step named after the workspace. The workspace already has its artists, pages and campaigns, so there is nothing to import. You pick your role and your alerts, and the owner keeps billing, the plan and the team.

Questions

I skipped the setup. Can I open it again?

No, the wizard shows once. Everything it does is also in the app: link your profiles in Catalog, follow artists in Browse, and set alerts in Settings → Notifications. Settings → Setup lists what is left.

The Finish setting up list is gone. Where is it?

It hides when you dismiss it or when all four tasks are done. The tasks are always in Settings → Setup.
