Movement alerts and playlist alerts

Get one email on the day a follow jumps past your threshold, or a big playlist adds or drops one of your tracks.

Alerts are separate from the digest. They come on the day something happens, even when your digest is weekly. Both kinds arrive in one email, sent at 09:00 UTC.

Movement alerts

Email me when something moves sends one email on the day anything you follow moves more than your threshold since yesterday. Pick 10%, 20% or 40%. The default is 20%. The email shows the reach, followers and playlist adds and removals that moved.

The subject names the follow that moved most and how much it is up or down today, and how many others moved. When the number was small yesterday, the email shows the change as a count, not a percent.

Playlist alerts

Email me when a playlist adds me covers the last 24 hours. It lists the playlists that added or dropped one of your follows, if the playlist has at least the followers you chose: 1K followers, 10K followers or 100K followers. The default is 10K. The email shows up to 10 playlist moves.

When only playlists moved, the subject is "Playlist moves for your follows today".

Who gets alerts

Alerts are on the Artist, Manager and Label plans and during the trial. The Free plan gets no alerts, even when the switches are on. Both switches are on for new accounts.

Alerts come per workspace. If you belong to several workspaces with follows, you get one alert email for each, and the subject starts with the workspace name.

Turn alerts on or off

Open Settings → Notifications, set the switches and thresholds, and click Save changes. See Change your email reports.

Questions

Why do I get no alerts?

Alerts need a paid plan or the trial, at least one follow in the workspace, and a move past your threshold. On Free, no alerts go out.

I get too many alerts. What can I do?

Raise the movement threshold to 40% and the playlist size to 100K followers in Settings → Notifications. You still get at most one alert email a day for each workspace.
