Daily and weekly digests

The digest emails you how the artists, tracks and playlists you follow moved, every morning or every Monday.

The digest is an email about your follows: the artists, tracks and playlists your workspace follows. You pick Daily, Weekly or Off in Settings → Notifications. New accounts start on Daily.

The daily digest

It covers yesterday. We send it in the morning UTC, as soon as the night’s data processing finishes. If the processing runs late, a backup run at 12:00 UTC sends it. The daily digest is for paid plans and the trial.

The weekly digest

It covers the week that ended on Sunday. We send it every Monday at 04:00 UTC. It is on every plan, Free included.

Free has no daily digest. On Free, the Daily choice gets you the weekly digest instead. When you move to a paid plan, the daily digest starts the next morning.

What is in a digest

How many artists, tracks and playlists the workspace follows.
Top mover: the follow with the biggest gain or drop.
AI daily brief: a short summary of the day’s trends. Daily digest only, on plans with AI insights. It uses your monthly AI insights. See Monthly quotas.
Your artists, Your tracks and Your playlists: the moves of your follows, ranked by impact. The colour shows Good move or Watch this, so it tells you whether the change helps you, not only its direction.

One digest per workspace

You get one digest for each workspace you belong to, and each subject starts with the workspace name. A workspace that follows nothing sends no digest. Days with no data for your follows send none either.

Questions

Why do I get a weekly digest when I chose Daily?

The workspace is on the Free plan, and Free has no daily digest. You get the weekly one instead, every Monday.

Why did I get no digest today?

Check that the workspace follows at least one artist, track or playlist, and that Digest is not Off in Settings → Notifications. A day with no data for your follows sends no digest.

What time zone does the digest use?

UTC. The send times and the days a digest covers are in UTC. There is no personal time zone setting.
