Create a SmartLink page
Start a release, pre-save or blank page from one release link or a catalog search. Every page starts as a draft.
A SmartLink is one page for a release. Fans open it and land on their own music service in one tap: Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and the rest, 20+ in total. You build the page from blocks and publish it when it is ready.
Create a page
- In the sidebar, open Promote → Smartlinks.
- Click New smartlink.
- Paste a release link from any music service, or type a track or artist name to search your catalog. Music24 looks for the release on the other services while you go on.
- Check the type: Release for music that is already out, Pre-save for music that is not out yet.
- Check the Page address, then click Create page.
Start a page that is not a release
For a link hub, a tour page or a merch drop, click Start a blank page and pick a template under Start from. Every block in a template can be edited.
- Empty page: the profile block only. You add the rest.
- Link hub: your profile and socials. Add a link block for each destination.
- Tour: your profile, a “Tour dates” heading and socials.
- Merch drop: your profile, a “The drop” heading and socials.
What happens next
- Every page starts as a draft. Nobody can open it until you publish it. See Publish, share and embed a page.
- Add, remove and reorder blocks in the editor. See Build a page with blocks.
- If a page for the same release already exists, Music24 tells you: You already have a page for this. Choose Open existing page, or Create anyway when a campaign needs its own numbers.
Other ways to start a page
- In Catalog, click Create link next to a release.
- The Music24 apps for iPhone and Android create and manage SmartLink pages too.
Questions
Can I make SmartLinks on the Free plan?
Yes. Every plan creates SmartLink and pre-save pages. Free can have 3 pages published at a time. Drafts and your profile page do not count.
Can I make a page for music that is not out yet?
Yes. Choose the Pre-save type. Fans sign up before release day, and you mark the release out when your links are live.
Can I have two pages for one release?
Yes. Choose Create anyway when Music24 finds the existing page. Each page keeps its own numbers, so two live pages split the traffic of one release.
