Upgrade, downgrade or switch billing period

Change your plan in Settings → Subscription → View plans. A first plan opens Stripe checkout; a change to a running plan opens a Stripe confirm screen.

Checked on Oct 1, 2026

Only the workspace owner can change the plan. On the web, the steps are the same for an upgrade and a downgrade.

Change your plan on the web

  1. Open Settings → Subscription at music24.com/app.
  2. Choose View plans. During the trial you can also choose See plans on the trial banner.
  3. Under Billing period, choose Monthly or Yearly.
  4. On the plan you want, choose Upgrade to or Switch to and the plan name, for example Upgrade to Manager. Your current plan shows Your plan.
  5. No paid plan yet: Stripe checkout opens. Enter your card and pay. With a paid plan already running: Stripe opens a page that shows the new price. Check it and confirm.

How a change is billed

An upgrade starts at once. Stripe charges you straight away for the new plan, with a credit for the unused time of your old plan. Stripe shows the amount before you confirm, so nothing is charged by surprise.

A downgrade starts at the end of your current billing period. Until then you keep your current plan and its limits, and nothing more is charged. Then the limits of the lower plan apply, and published pages stay live. See What changes when the trial ends or you downgrade.

Switch between monthly and yearly

To keep the same plan and only change the billing period, open Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription. The Stripe billing page opens. Update your plan there and choose the monthly or yearly price. A switch from monthly to yearly starts at once, with a credit for the unused time. A switch from yearly to monthly starts at the end of your yearly period. The plans window cannot do this: it marks your current plan as Your plan.

If it does not work

  • You're already on this plan. You picked the plan and price you already pay for.
  • Your plan was bought in the App Store. Change it there. The message names Google Play when you bought the plan there. The workspace already pays in a store, and a web plan would bill you twice. Change or cancel the plan in that store. See Buy and manage a plan in the apps.
  • We can't process plan changes right now. Please contact support. Email [email protected] with the email of your account and the plan you want.

In the iPhone and Android apps

The apps sell plans through the App Store and Google Play. A plans window inside the apps shows no web prices and says Upgrade in the app: Settings → Subscription. See Buy and manage a plan in the apps.

A team member sees Owner only instead of a button and the line "Ask the workspace owner to upgrade." See Billing when you are a team member.

Questions

Do I pay twice when I upgrade?

No. With a running web plan, Music24 changes that subscription instead of starting a second one. Stripe credits the unused time of the old plan. With a plan from the App Store or Google Play, the web refuses checkout, so you change the plan in the store.

Can I downgrade to a cheaper plan?

Yes. Choose Switch to on the cheaper plan. The cheaper plan starts at the end of your current billing period. To go back to Free, cancel your plan instead.
