Pre-save fans, reminders and CSV export

How fans sign up

A fan picks a music service and connects it. The track lands in their library when you mark the release out.
A fan chooses Email me instead and leaves an address. They get one email with your links when you mark the release out. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
A fan who leaves an email can also tick Also send me news from your artist name. Music24 sends them no news itself: the export tells you who agreed.

Follow the sign-ups

The Pre-save campaign panel on the page screen counts the pre-saves per service and the Email reminders. After release, it shows how many saves were delivered, how many fans were emailed, and how many failed. The page analytics show the Pre-saves card too. See Read your page’s views and clicks.

Export the fan list

Open Promote → Smartlinks and click the pre-save page.
Open More actions and choose Export pre-saves (CSV).
Open the file in any spreadsheet. It has one row per fan, with the columns kind, service, email, marketing_opt_in, status and created_at.

Export is part of Artist, Manager and Label, and of the 7-day trial. On Free, the menu item opens the upgrade options instead. Compare the plans on the pricing page.

Deleting a pre-save page deletes its fan list and cancels every waiting pre-save. Export the list first. See Publish, share and embed a page.

What happens to fan data

A fan’s music service connection is used only to save your track. We delete it 30 days after the last campaign that fan signed up for has ended.
The sign-up rows stay, so your counts stay right. They hold no service connection.
When you delete your Music24 account, your campaigns and fan sign-ups are erased with it. A fan’s service connection is erased too, unless the fan also pre-saved a release of another artist. Then the 30-day rule above applies to it.

Questions

Can I download the emails of my pre-save fans?

Yes, on Artist, Manager, Label and the trial. Choose Export pre-saves (CSV) in the More actions menu of the page.

Do fans get marketing emails from Music24?

No. A fan who chose email gets one reminder for your release. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
