Run a pre-save campaign

A pre-save page collects fans before release day. On the day, Music24 saves the track to every fan’s library on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer or Amazon Music.

A pre-save page shows a countdown to your release. Fans connect their music service, or leave an email address, before the music is out. When you mark the release out, Music24 saves the track to their library or emails them the links. Pre-save works on every plan.

Create a pre-save page

Open Promote → Smartlinks and click New smartlink.
Search your catalog for the track, or type its name and press Enter to fill it in by hand: Title, Artist and Cover artwork URL.
Choose the Pre-save type and set the Release date.
Click Create page. The draft has a pre-save block, a countdown and email capture.
Publish the page and share it. See Publish, share and embed a page.

You can also start from Catalog → Add unreleased track, or add a Pre-save block to a page you already have. A page holds one pre-save block.

Services fans can pre-save on

Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer and Amazon Music. All five are on by default. To change them, edit the pre-save block and pick the services under Pre-save on. Keep at least one.

Fans on any other service choose Email me instead. They get one email with your links when you mark the release out, and can also ask for news from you.

Before release day

The Pre-save campaign panel on the page screen shows a checklist: Release date set, the page published and cover art on the page. It also counts the pre-saves per service and the email reminders as they come in.

Which services does a Music24 pre-save support?

Is pre-save included on the Free plan?

Yes. Every plan runs pre-save campaigns. Exporting the fan list needs the trial or a paid plan.

Does the track save itself on the release date?
