Browse and daily browse credits
Browse searches millions of tracks and artists. Each new artist or track page you open uses one daily browse credit.
Public intelligence → Browse searches the whole catalogue, millions of tracks and artists. Type a name, then open a track or an artist to see its page, or follow it to track it.
How browse credits work
- Each different artist or track page you open uses one credit for the day.
- Opening the same page again on the same day costs nothing.
- Artists and tracks your workspace follows open free, for every member. Playlist pages use no credit.
- Credits count per person. The number per day comes from the plan of the workspace you have open.
- The count starts again every day at 00:00 UTC. Unused credits do not carry over.
Credits per day
| Plan | Browse credits a day |
|---|---|
| Free | 5 |
| The 7-day trial | 100 |
| Artist | 25 |
| Manager | 100 |
| Label | 500 |
On Free, on a phone, the Browse tile in the Public menu shows your allowance: "5 searches a day on Free".
When you run out
A new artist or track page shows an error instead of the numbers. On Free it reads "Daily browse credit limit exceeded (5/5). Please upgrade your plan or try again tomorrow." On other plans it names that plan's limit.
Follow the artists and tracks you check often: they never use a credit. Or wait for 00:00 UTC, or move to a plan with more credits. See Follow artists, tracks and playlists.
