Trends: what moved yesterday
Trends gives you an AI daily brief and the artists and tracks that are trending or behaving unusually.
Open Public intelligence → Trends. The page has an AI-written daily read at the top and four lists below it.
The four lists
- Trending artists and Trending tracks: the ones picking up the most attention this week.
- Unusual artist activity and Unusual track activity: sudden jumps or drops in the last 7 days.
The lists cover every artist and track we track, not only the ones you follow. An item needs a minimum number of playlist placements to show. See When do we show a percent change?
The AI daily brief
The AI daily brief is a short written read of the day: where the market is gaining, slipping and breaking out. It is written after the nightly update. Until it is ready, the card says "Today’s brief will appear once trend data is processed." or "Writing today’s brief…".
Each day’s brief that your workspace reads uses one AI insight from the monthly allowance. Reading the same day’s brief again in the same month is free. A brief that is not ready yet uses nothing.

When the allowance resets
The allowance resets on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC. When it is used up, the app says "You used all of this month on your plan. Wait for the reset or upgrade your plan."
Questions
Does every page view of the brief count?
No. Only the first read of a day’s brief in a month counts for your workspace. Opening it again costs nothing.
Is the brief about my artists only?
No. The brief and the lists read the whole catalogue we track. Your own watchlist is on Home.
Why is there no brief yet today?
The brief is written after the nightly update, which starts at 03:00 UTC. It is usually ready in the morning, UTC.
