Insights: your own numbers
Insights shows your own streams, listeners, saves and playlist adds from the artist portals you connected, day by day.
Open Your intelligence → Insights. It shows your own numbers, straight from the artist accounts you connected: Spotify for Artists, Deezer for Creators and YouTube. Insights is in the web app and in the iPhone and Android apps.
Before you connect
With no portal connected, Insights says Connect an artist account to see your real numbers. Click Connect a service, or see Connect Spotify for Artists, Deezer for Creators and YouTube.
What you see
- The numbers: Streams, Listeners, Saves, Playlist adds, Followers and Monthly listeners. A service shows the ones it reports.
- The range chips: 7 days, 28 days or 90 days. The screen opens on 28 days, or on 7 days on Free. The range ends on the newest day the service has reported, not today.
- The service chips: All services, or one service at a time.
- Top tracks: your most-streamed tracks.
- Playlists: the playlists that carry your music, grouped as Editorial, Listener, Algorithmic and Other.
The status of each service
Where these numbers come from lists each connected service with its state:
- Waiting for the first sync: connected, and the first read has not finished yet.
- No artist chosen yet: the sign-in worked, but Music24 does not know which artist to read. Click Choose artist and pick one.
- Last sync failed: the last read did not work. We try again at the next daily sync.
- Signed out. Your numbers stop here.: the service ended our sign-in. Click Reconnect. See Sync, reconnect and disconnect a portal.
How much history your plan shows
Free shows the last 7 days of your portal numbers, and no all-time totals. On Free, the 28 days and 90 days chips show a lock. A click opens the upgrade window See your full Spotify for Artists history and does not change the range. Artist, Manager, Label and the trial lock no chip and show all the history we have read. This works the same on the web and in the iPhone and Android apps.
Questions
Why do my Insights numbers stop two days ago?
The services report each day late. We read them once a day from 21:30 UTC, so the newest day is usually 1 to 2 days back.
How is Insights different from Markets and Trends?
Insights reads your own artist accounts. Markets, Trends and the artist and track pages read public playlist data, which works for any artist.
Can I see more than 7 days on Free?
Not on Free. Free shows 7 days of portal numbers, and the longer chips show a lock. Artist, Manager, Label and the trial show all of it.
